For this issue of the Dream, we turn to The New York Times of January 3rd, 1909.

Featured was a lengthy article on the growth of the motion picture business:

"The Nation-Wide Wave of Moving Pictures:
How it has swept over the country until it represents an investment of forty millions of dollars and the employment of 100,000 persons."

The article provides insight not only into the early days of movie exhibition but also film production with its visit to the Edison Studios.
